A ravishing programme of music by Mozart and some of the great French composers of the past century promises music that dances off the page, brimming over with beautiful melodies and a sense of enchantment and joie de vivre. This vibrant young ensemble plays with bravura and panache, revelling in the rhythms of Debussy’s dances, the kaleidoscopic colours of Ravel’s fantasy piece and the delicacy of Mozart’s Flute Quartet, whose Adagio melody has been described as perhaps the most beautiful accompanied solo ever written for the flute. Join us for this evening of stunningly evocative French music with a complimentary glass of Champagne to enjoy while strolling through our beautiful gardens. |
