1:Elijah, Op 70
Note: Mendelssohn’s Old Testament epic is both a thunderous, choral spectacular and an intimate drama. The brooding figure of Elijah dominates the scene, a complex role that demands a big voice and big personality. He is sung here by the charismatic Jonathan Lemalu, supported by an outstanding cast, including award-winning tenor Mark Padmore.

Sung in English.
