Note: Marking the 50th anniversary of Vaughan Williams’ death, Bristol’s accomplished chamber choir performs a selection of the composer’s choral music including a remarkable setting of words from Ezekiel, A Vision of Aeroplanes with a virtuosic organ part and soaring vocal lines, and his anthem The voice out of the whirlwind.

Under the direction of David Ogden, the choir also performs William Walton’s The Twelve, Set me as a seal and Where does the uttered music go? Baritone Martin Le Poidevin wil perform some of Vaughan Williams’ best known solo songs including Silent Noon and excerpts from the Songs of Travel.
