Note: Melanie was recently a Woodwind finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition 2008 and travelled to Cardiff to perform in the category finals. She joined the Purcell School in 2004 and also attends the Junior Department at the Royal Academy of Music. She is currently Principal Oboe of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.

Alexander Ullman was born in London in 1991 and started learning the piano at the age of six. In 2006 Alexander was awarded the Hans Romney Prize at the Tunbridge Wells International Piano Competition and he was the winner of the South-East of England regional final of the BBC Young Musician of the Year.
