Two seductive and poetic works follow; Ravel’s Introduction and Allegro and Debussy’s Danse sacree et danse profane which include imaginative writing for the harp. The second half of the programme is devoted to one of the most sublime chamber works ever written, Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet.
