The Bulgarian–born pianist Deltcho Deltchev began piano studies at the age of five. Deltchev received a Full Merit Scholarship from Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio, where he earned a Performance Diploma. He has performed extensively throughout the United States and Europe. The programme opens with the extraordinary Chromatic Fantasy by Bach and rounded of by one of Schubert’s great achievements – the A major piano sonata, D 959. |
