A former winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, Peter Donohoe’s musicianship and commanding technique are perfectly suited to this passionate work. Tonight's programme also includes the frenetic buzzing of Vaughan Williams’ The Wasps Overture and concludes with Beethoven’s legendary Symphony No 5, which begins with one of the most famous musical motifs ever written.
