Clarinettist Michael Collins returns to the LMP to perform both Finzi’s and Mozart’s Clarinet Concertos. Mozart’s concerto is often regarded as the finest ever written for the clarinet, however Finzi’s beautifully lyrical concerto also gives its performer opportunity to shine. To complete tonight’s programme Michael Collins will conduct symphonies by Mozart and Haydn. |
